Losing Your Cool @ Work?

Has there ever been an instance where you had to deal with someone and tried your damnest not to blow up at them?

Since starting my job, I've had three instances (all within the past two weeks,) where my superiors have have to advise me about my temper dealing with guests - including today (I'm currently on lunch break.)

So...?

I went off on someone at my last job. she was a bitch. I laughed my ass off when she got fired...why? For stealing chicken and taking it home.

I've also had mental breakdowns and cried at work.

I go off on co-workers constantly. I don't go off on customers because, I don't want to lose my job. I've never been given a warning about my temper, however, some co-workers have often told me that I can be scary when I go off. It's so simple to get me mad though, so that's why I warn everyone when I meet them to not take anything I say personally. 

I don't fuck with bitches assness (Yes Im bringing that word back).

I wish I had more drama in real life. I've never had issues with any of my students in a way that would make me mad.

Sometimes they've disappointed me, but I've never been angry with any of them.

I used to teach Public Speaking at my local university, but I was no longer eligible once I graduated.

While looking for an actual job, I've been tutoring public school students. The pay is better, but I'd much prefer a real job with less pay. My passion is Public Relations and Crisis Communication, but there just isn't much opportunity for that where I live. It's disappointing, because I wanted to save up $ before I went elsewhere for a career.

I've never thought of you as someone who would get angry at anyone. I know it's just a forum, but you've never been a drama-heavy person, and I've always seen you as a laid-back personality.

If someone got you angry, then they probably did something to deserve it.

I've been known for my temper irl; but I am generally a chillaxed dude.

That's currently what is keeping me from having a job. I failed my first drug test at wal mart a few years ago and I got into an argument with the manager for not giving me another chance. I pretty much told him that you can slowly kill yourself with cigarettes while on job but I can't smoke a little bit of weed while I'm at home relaxing. So I got fired for the drug test & the argument was just me expressing my anger towards his decision... Now every time I go for a job interview, I have to bring that up if not they will eventually find out and I'll get shit canned anyway... it sucks but I gotta deal with it. #LIVINGINASMALLHICKTOWNPROBLEMS

Most recent one: I got in an argument with one parent for cursing and using a homophobic slur because his son dared to *gasp* put on kilt while playing Brave with the other kids.
