Does WWE Blame Batista For His Poor Reaction?

WWE officials were said to be very disappointed with the crowd reaction to Batista's return to WWE. However, the company is currently blaming the Dayton, Ohio crowd and not Batista.

The ratings were good and the officials felt it was the crowd that hurt his return. This could stop WWE from returning there for a WWE RAW or pay-per-view in the future as they weren't happy.

The fuck? How you gonna blame a crowd for not cheering for Batista? Its not there fault that Nobody wanted Batista to win the royal rumble when he didn't deserve to win it.Of course if this is true or not.

Yeah, that'd be scumbaggy of WWE to not go there just because fans don't give a particular reaction. I mean that's why fans pay for tickets.

They'll never stop going to cities that have sold out crowds. The WWE's main priority is $, everything else (including popularity contests) is secondary.

WWE don't care what people think cause even though these people complain they will still watch and the cogs will keep spinning

I'm looking at it from a different perspective. I think what they mean is wrong place, wrong time. If this happened at any other typical WWE venue, the morale would be the same, most likely. In today's WWE, legends & HOFers don't get huge pops... not even Rock or Austin.

On top of that... time slot! After sitting for the recording of Main Event, then an hour into Raw... the excited mood becomes more stagnant.

I don't think Batista is as 'mainstream' as WWE thought he was. I mean Rock/Austin/Lesnar can probably be recognized by the average person. Batista? Eh, not so much. People aren't paying money to see Guardians of the Galaxy for Tista. He wasn't exactly impressive in his MMA debut either.
