| I've been feeling for the past 2 years PPVs have lost their hype, including Wrestlemania. And ever since WWE went pg, PPVs at this point at times get less hype then weekly shows. WWE really needs to find either a REALLY blockbuster Main Event to come up with, or a new match type, or maybe STOP BRINGING BACK GUYS ON WEEKLY SHOWS AND DO IT AT A PAYPERVIEW. Either that or bring back a star the week of the payperview, and then have them challenge a maineventer at the ppv. Idk im just ranting but what do you guys think? have pay per views lost their hype? | |

| I agree they have lost their hype. I dont think its the pg rating, Its seeing the same people in the same matches against eachother, and seeing the same people on the posters. Makes me not want to buy sometimes. They need to push and market new people. | |

| I still think it's the Tri-branded PPV's, it needs to go and quick. IMO Raw could have their own PPV while SD & ECW could share. While Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series & Royal Rumble remain the only tri branded PPV's.
It's the same names wrestling every PPV...it's the same group of 8-10 people at the main event. It's really hurting the younger and newer guys from getting over. Also Raw takes up 60/70% of the PPV's, SD has like maybe 2 or 3 matches while Raw has the most of them.
I'd change soooo many things if i was in the WWE....oh and i miss brand Wars >.> it all changed with all these tri-branded raws

| What does Janet Jackson's tits have to do with shitty PPVs?
Anywho.. YES.
PPV's used to be so special.. Now, there are a number of reasons why the suck: - Seems like there is one EVERY WEEK. Two weeks ago I think Extreme Rules went down. Last week was Slammiversary. This week it's The Bash. - Shitty products. If Raw sucks like everyone praising SD claims, why would you actually want to pay for it? - Same match over and over and over. That Extreme Rules card has the same matches that the Judgment Day card had. - Finally, 40 fucking dollars? Are they shitting me?

| hes blaming everything being PG cause of that Extreme Rules didnt have the same matches as Judgment Day. there were 3 that were different. and i blame December to Dismember as the downfall for brand only ppvs. that shit was just utterly brutal, not to mention that they only advertised 2 matches, but one of the guys (Sabu) that was supposed to be in the Chamber....got "taken out" for Hardcore Holly | |

| No.. The WWE didn't go "PG" because of a pair of tits. They went PG because they realized their most over guys (Cena, Jeff Hardy & Rey) were mostly over because of the kids. It's smart marketing on their part. Ratings aren't as good as they could be, but if you got a million kids buying shitty t-shirts.. You got some serious cash.
To blame everything on the rating is stupid. If they went back to the booking of the 80's (a clear good guy vs clear bad guy), maybe the product would seem better. It's really sad to see how some matches hold themselves back because the rating.

| Not all of them. =P
That Triple H vs Orton match at Mania would've been better if their was so blood or something. I dunno. If some asshole was to lay his hands on my wife, I sure as in hell wouldn't "play it safe" when I finally got my hands on him.

| pretty boys? That would fall into the gimmick category. I think WWE has gotten better in terms of bringing in guys who can actually wrestle, but the talent they bring in are very lack-luster in terms of, a good charisma and a good gimmick. | |

| LOL ^^^^ I understand lil Bones Now I agree with a little bit of what everyone is saying, we seriously need BRAND ONLY PPV's like Kevin pointed out and I can guarantee that some midcarders will finaly get there time to shine. As Sarcy said it seems like there is a PPV every other week and that definitely kills the product, Are all these PPV neccessary? And I second Dead's comment, HHH Vs Orton put on a great match on Raw. Lastly NCD, Random much? Janet Jackson??? LMAO!! | |

| IMO i believe that fact that we have like 2 ppvs a month when it comes to the WWE that they have lost their hype. its like we just went through one ppv and then 2 weeks later we have another one and its basically the same damn storyline w/o anything major changing. | |
