- Daniels defeated Shane Douglas.
- Angelina Love defeated Tara.
- Abyss & Taylor Wilde defeated Raven & Daffney.
- Sting defeated Matt Morgan.
- Beer Money Inc defeated Team 3D.

The following are more detailed results for Slammiversary 2009.
- TNA X Division Championship
King of the Mountain
Suicide vs Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin vs Consequences Creed vs Jay Lethal
Excellent match with a lot of fast paced action and a ton of entertaining high spots. Every time you think that every possible spot has been done with a ladder, these guys find a way to surprise you.
It's not necessarily a bad thing for TNA to keep the title on Suicide, but the audience was just begging for either Alex Shelley or Chris Sabin to win.
- Daniels vs Shane Douglas
Shane Douglas did a decent job in this match. It was obvious that he needed to be in better shape, but he did well for the shape that he was in. Daniels deserves a lot of praise for making this match look good.
This was a short term program, so it makes all the sense in the world to have Daniels winning the match.
- TNA Knockouts Championship
Angelina Love vs Tara
As expected, this was a solidly worked match. Tara showed the experience that she possessed, and Angelina Love proved that she could easily keep up.
It would have been nice to see Tara picking up the belt to gain some instant momentum. However, it looks like TNA opted to give heel heat to Angelina Love by going with the interference victory.
- Monster's Ball
Abyss & Taylor Wilde vs Raven & Daffney
Abyss excelled in this match as expected. Raven showed that he still has some fuel left in his tank. Daffney and Taylor Wilde surprised a bunch of people with their performances.
Abyss & Taylor Wilde picked up the win. Didn't really mattered who won this match. It was all about the performance.
- Sting vs Matt Morgan
The booking behind this match was exactly what it needed to be. Sting was portrayed as the veteran who wouldn't give up. Matt Morgan was the dominant youngster that couldn't put the veteran away. A couple of sloppy spots, but overall, it was a good match.
Many were hoping that Matt Morgan would win the match and get a spot with the Main Event Mafia. Even though he lost, he might still get the spot because of the "respect earned" from his performance.
- TNA World Tag Team Championship
Beer Money Inc vs Team 3D
Solid match that goes along the same line as the other matches these two tag teams have had. It's easy to tell that they've got good chemistry together.
TNA went above and beyond to protect Team 3D in the loss. First, they kept highlighting the fact that Brother Ray and Brothery Devon were flying back from a title defense in Japan. Then, they had the British Invasion doing some damage in the match.
- TNA World Heavyweight Championship
King of the Mountain
Jeff Jarrett vs Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle vs AJ Styles vs Mick Foley
Very entertaining match. Mick Foley worked the audience during the entire match. AJ Styles is phenomenal as usual. Samoa Joe, Jeff Jarrett, and Kurt Angle all came through as well.
Right now, it doesn't make a lot of sense, but TNA sure has captured the audience's attention and imagination by having Samoa Joe turning heel and helping Kurt Angle win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Matt Hardy InjuredWhen Matt Hardy first dreamed about becoming a professional wrestler, he knew that injuries were a part of the business. He just didn't know that they were this frequently involved.
At the television tapings last night, the former WWE United States Heavyweight Champion suffered a tear in his abdominal muscle. The injury occurred during the triple threat match between Matt Hardy, MVP, and Kofi Kingston, which is set to air this week on WWE Superstars.
Matt Hardy will require surgery to repair the tear. As of right now, the surgery is set for sometimes later this week. No word yet on how long he will be required to stay away from the ring.
Wrestlers Unhappy About PayRey Mysterio and a couple of other wrestlers are currently unhappy about the amount of money that they are being paid.
Rumors were flying a few days ago that the former World Heavyweight Champion had turned in his notice because of the financial dispute. However, that rumor was proven to be false for now. The masked superstar has not yet turned in his notice, but he is quite upset with what he feels he is unfairly paid.
More fuel was thrown into the fire yesterday when WWE announced that they would be giving full refunds to the fans who were in attendance at Raw last night. The company basically gave back over $200,000 in ticket sales in an attempt to make Donald Trump look good. For wrestlers who feel that they aren't being paid enough, that was a slap to the face.
Kizarny to TNANick Cvjetkovich, who recently appeared in WWE as Kizarny, is scheduled to meet with TNA officials this week.
The meeting is scheduled so that the company can discuss the possibility of bringing Nick Cvjetkovich into the company. He previously worked for TNA throughout 2003-2005. While a return to the company is not a sure thing, he does have a good chance because he's a good overall performer.
His goal is still to return to WWE eventually, though. Nick Cvjetkovich is not shy about letting people know that.
In a recent interview, Nick Cvjetkovich revealed that when he was called up to the Smackdown roster, he spent the night in a hotel room with childhood friends Edge and Christian. The three spent the night reveling in the fact that they all finally achieved their childhood dreams together.
Donald Trump Sells WWE RawA week ago, it was announced that Donald Trump had purchased Raw by giving Vince McMahon an offer that he could not refuse.
Despite just being a storyline, the entire situation gained national media coverage because several people (including some wrestling fans who should have known better) believed that it was a real transaction.
In an attempt to make Donald Trump look good, the company made it seem as if he made the decision to air Raw without any commercial interruptions. They also boosted his character by giving refunds to every single fan that had paid for a ticket to the live event.
On Raw this week, Donald Trump actually made an appearance in the arena. Vince McMahon wasn't happy with not being the owner, so he confronted him in the middle of the ring.
The two did a little segment where Vince McMahon decided to buy back Raw for double what he sold it for. Once again, the segment was designed to make Donald Trump look good.
Raw is now back in the proper hands.
From a business perspective, this storyline accomplished what Vince McMahon was hoping for. He got the national media attention that he was seeking.
However, from a wrestling perspective, the storyline failed miserably.
Donald Trump simply does not belong in a wrestling ring. He certainly doesn't belong on the mic inside of a wrestling ring either.
For a man that has made millions (perhaps billions) of dollars, Donald Trump sure has a lot of problem with being able to talk. He shows absolutely no charisma or personality whatsoever when he's in the ring.
Remember those plays in high school where the nerdy little freshman (who was forced to choose theater arts as an elective because he was afraid of choosing physical education) forces some line that he's obviously trying to remember?
Yeah. Well, that kid could have done better than Donald Trump.
Now that Vince McMahon is back in charge, hopefully, he does the right thing and chooses a general manager who understands how to work the audience.
On Raw, Donald Trump did mention an idea where a celebrity would be appointed every week to run the show. However, that's easily one of the dumbest ideas that I've ever heard of.
WWE would love the media attention that a stunt like that would capture, but wrestling fans don't need something that lame every week.
Instead of doing that, WWE should bring in someone that understands the game. The general manager position doesn't actually possess any backstage powers whatsoever, but it should be filled by someone that knows how to talk in the wrestling world.
Ric Flair's name has been mentioned as a possible candidate to fill the general manager spot, but there's still no confirmation that he wants that job. In the past, he's been adamant about being a general manager or commentator.
Shane Douglas might not be kept by TNA. If he's allowed to leave, then WWE should seriously let bygones be bygones and pick him up. He still knows how to work the mic.
