Separate to the big Marvel-Disney news, Fox is still committed to overhauling one of its Marvel franchises, Fantastic Four. Variety reports that Akiva Goldsman is now overseeing the next project as producer. Green Lantern writer and Heroes co-executive producer Michael Green will write the script. The third film will follow 2005’s Fantastic Four and 2007’s Rise of the Silver Surfer; it’s not yet known if any of the cast members from those two will return.
