This week doesn't sound so interesting. I can't believe John Morrison keeps on losing his matches.

I hope Tyson & DH Smith got back to the pink tights together with Natalya They all look much better in these.

I'm currently watching tonight's SD episode...they announced ziggler/Morrison next week for the IC title.

Morrison & Cryme Tyme vs Harts and Ziggler was pretty good. I love the Harts, and hate Cryme Tyme, so the outcome was great for me

I love the Beth Squash matches. Its building her up but I hope they dont have them go on for too long. lol I enjoyed Beth's match last week and this week(dispite her oppoents screaming).

* They pyros go off to open this week's show. Batista vs. Matt Hardy is the opener. Batista wins with a Batista Bomb. Footage is shown from last week's Batista vs. Rey Mysterio Survivor Series match contract signing.
* They air a segment with The Undertaker and Kane talking.

* A Teddy Long/Vickie Guerrero backstage segment is shown next. Teddy says he doesn't need Vickie's advice. Vince McMahon comes in and names Vickie a Smackdown consultant.
* Drew McIntyre comes out, a Finlay/McIntyre promo is shown. The promo is proceeded by Finlay vs. McIntyre. McIntyre wins via pinfall after a double arm DDT.
* CM Punk comes out and gives his typical Straight Edge promo. R-Truth comes out and interrupts him. He attacks Punk and dumps a trash can on him filled with alcohol, cigarettes and prescription medication.
* Josh Mathews interviews Batista backstage. He talks about how Rey Mysterio embarrassed him. They role footage from WWE's most recent European tour.

* John Morrison defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler in a two out of three falls match is up next. Morrison got the first fall via pinfall. Ziggler got the second via pinfall after hitting Zig Zag. Morrison got the third and final pinfall after hitting Starship Pain to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
* Mickie James b. Layla with a rollup. After the match, Michelle McCool sings an E-I-E-I-O parody on Mickie
* Batista comes out to do commentary for Rey Mysterio vs. Tyson Kidd w/Natalya. Kidd wins via disqualification after Batista attacked Kidd. Mysterio attacked Batista and went to the back.
* Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Big Show and Chris Jericho talk backstage. Jericho says he's not scared of The Undertaker and Kane. Show turns out the lights in the locker room, in an attempt to frighten Jericho

im getting a tad bored of Ziggler not winning the title...Morrison is one of my favs, but how many IC title matches has Ziggler lost, like 3 on Rey and 3 on Morrison.

Mickie James and Kelly Kelly beat Michelle McCool and Layla in a thanksgiving match.

Beth Phoenix beat local wrestler in a squash match.

R-Truth beat CM Punk.

Drew McIntyre beat Matt Hardy.

Batista beat Kane.

*Smackdown opens with Chris Jericho in the ring discussing the TLC match for the Unified Tag Team
championships at the TLC PPV. He then turns his attention to the announced Batista vs. Kane match tonight, noting it will name the new top contender for the Undertaker's World championship. He claims he should be in the match. Teddy Long comes out and announced Jericho vs. The Undertaker in a non-title match for later.

*The Hart Dynasty defeated Cryme Time.

*Backstage, Vickie Guerrero and Eric Escobar demand Teddy Long grant Escobar a Intercontinental championship bout. Long makes the match and says it will be his only shot.

*CM Punk comes out with Festus and a brown paper bag. Punk introduces Drew Gallows (that name may not be 100% correct but that's what it sounded like), formerly Festus. Punk said his friends gave him pills in the past and that's why Festus was in the state he was in, but that's in the past. Punk said that what he has inside the bag comes out 12/1 and he's scared that it will be available to the public. Punk pulls the Jeff Hardy DVD. Out comes Matt Hardy, who defends his brother. This leads to...

*Matt Hardy defeats CM Punk by DQ after Festus interferes. They beat down Hardy afterwards.

*Backstage, Mickie James is asked about Michelle McCool's video last week. James said that no matter how juvenile Layla and McCool get, she's worked hard to get here and she's not leaving Smackdown.

*Batista defeated Kane by countout to become the new number one contender to the World championship.

(1) R-Truth beat CM Punk via DQ after Luke a/k/a Festus interfered.

(2) Kane beat Mike Knox

(3) Mickie James beat Natalya and Beth Phoenix in a triple threat match to become the #1 contender to the Women’s championship.

(4) Drew McIntyre beat IC champion John Morrison in a non-title match.

(5) Hart Dynasty (D.H. Smith & Tyson Kidd) beat Eric Escobar in a handicap match set up by Vickie Guerrero.

Unified tag champions Chris Jericho & Big Show beat Cryme Tyme (Shad Gaspard & JTG).

At the end of the show, Undertaker
tried to call out Batista, but Batista met him halfway and destroyed him at the end of the taping.

Batista came out first. He said he did not ask for the street fight with Rey Mysterio. He said Rey doesn't deserve to be in the same ring with him. He added that he's noticed that people boo him now but he doesn't care. He was born to be the champion. Evolution needed him so he used them to advance his career. Rey needed him to watch his back. Batista said he definitely doesn't need the fans. A fan held up a sign that read "Badtista."

Dave asks for a spotlight because that's what he's in WWE for. It's all about Batista. The topic turned to Undertaker. Badtista has beaten Taker down the past two weeks and has seen fear in his eyes. He said we should get used to hearing "World Heavyweight Champion Batista." He was booed mercilessly when he talked about beating Taker down the last two weeks.

They teased the Matt Hardy and R-Truth vs. C.M. Punk and Luke Gallows match that was coming up next.

Punk and Gallows came to the ring. Punk bashed the Jeff Hardy DVD that is flying off the shelves. He said he's disappointed that parents are buying it. They might as well be stuffing their kids' stockings with hallucinogenic mushrooms (the crowd loved that one). Festus, er, Gallows jumped up and down for some reason. R-Truth rapped as he and Hardy passed out DVDs. Punk told people to sell them on eBay rather than watch them. Killings hit Punk with the mic after delivering his final "What's up?" line.

1. C.M. Punk and Luke Gallows defeated Matt Hardy and R-Truth. Good tag team work by Hardy and Truth. They look good as a team. Good end to the match. Punk threw out Truth. Matt went for the Twist of Fate, but Punk turned it into the GTS. Hardy cout out and pushed Punk into Gallows, who tagged in and nailed a big boot for the win. "Fun match," Michael wrote. "Good mic work by Punk. So far Punk and Badtista tie for most heat."

Eric Escobar told Vickie Guerrero that everyone thought she was his mom...except his mom isn't as big as Texas. She said he'd be fighting Chris Jericho tonight.

Mike Knox told Kane that they are both misunderstood monsters and that he enjoyed fighting him. Kane says they aren't alike but they will fight tonight. Knox offered to ride in the ambulance with Kane. "A weird exchange of words but interesting," Michael wrote.

2. Big Show and Chris Jericho defeated Eric Escobar. No pre-match mic work from Jericho, which disappointed both of our correspondents. Vickie came out shortly after the match started and informed Escobar that it would be a handicap match. Show came out and eventually dropped the leg on Escobar, and Jericho followed up by making him tap to the Walls of Jericho.

After the match, Jericho promised victory at TLC and to wipe DX from the face of the earth. He said Show is more destructive than any table, ladder, or chair. Show took the mic and said he and Jericho are the end of Hunter and Shawn.

There was a segment with Drew McIntyre whining about not being on the cover of WWE Magazine. Morrison, the man he beat last week, is on the cover. He questioned why people believe in John Morrison and questioned whether it's because he's American and McIntyre is Scottish?

Morrison comes out dressed as William Wallace (a/k/a Mel Gibson in Braveheart). Morrison used a Scottish accent. McIntyre said Morrison looked ridiculous. Morrison said no one can understand what McIntyre says that's why the fans hate him. Morrison says Drew's head is so far up Vince McMahon's ass that his nose is brown. McIntyre gets coffee for Ricky Steamboat, twitters with IRS, and gets flex all for Roddy Piper and a few other things. Good stuff.

Morrison dropped his sword and asked why a crazy old man's endorsement makes him feel chosen. A short brawl took place and McIntyre left through the crowd.

A Rey Mysterio vs. Batista video aired.

3. Kane defeated Mike Knox. Kane won clean with a chokeslam. Judith wrote that it wasn't a bad match. Michael wrote that it was hard hitting, but nothing special.

4. Mickie James and Maria defeated Michelle McCool and Layla. The crowd loved Mickie. McCool and Layla were not met with heat but rather indifference. Mickie threw Layla into the ropes to collide with McCool as Layla rebounded Mickie got the roll up. Michelle recovered just in time to see the ref count three.

Mickie and McCool will fight for the WWE Women's Title on Sunday at TLC.

A video hyped the street fight main event.

Batista defeated Rey Mysterio in a street fight. Rey came out and the crowd went nuts. Batista came out to an appropriate heel reaction. Batista threw Rey around like a sock to start the match. Rey got some offense and the crowd went nuts. Shortly into the match, Rey played cat and mouse to elude Batista, rolling over his back and feinting a 619.

The match spilled to the outside. Batista used Rey's head to assault the announce table. Batista played the unrelenting animal well, keeping the offense on Rey. Batista set up a chair for the Batista Bomb, but Rey fought out and knocked Batista onto the chair. Rey hit the 619 but couldn't get the three count. Rey hit Batista with the chair but the comeback was short lived. Batista hit the bomb for the win.

Batista put Rey's head inside the chair and then went to the top rope. The lights went out and the bell tolled for Batista. Taker was standing in the ring when the lights came on. He beat Batista down and grabbed the chair. Batista makes a quick exit. Taker had the second biggest pop of the night.

WWE SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Teddy Long opens SmackDown and talks about the #1 contendership to the World Title. Batista interrupts him then Rey Mysterio interrupts Batista. Mysterio vs. Batista for the #1 contender spot is made for tonight.

* The Hart Dynasty defeats Jimmy Wang Yang and Slam Master J with The Hart Attack. Smith hits a triply belly-to-belly in the match. They cut a promo on DX. DX vs. The Hart Dynasty is announced for the Christmas edition of SmackDown.

* Michelle McCool, Layla and Beth Phoenix cut a promo.

* Beth Phoenix defeats Maria.

* Rey Mysterio defeats Batista to become the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title. Rey comes out to the biggest reaction of the night and gets the win with a rollup.

Dark Main Event:

* Batista is left in the ring when the lights go out and The Undertaker appears. Taker defeats Batista with the Tombstone to send everyone home happy.

I am starting to like Eric Escobar. Too bad he wont be anything more than a jobber, imo.

divas action involving Beth is always a win for me.

3 whole diva sections, i had the strongest feeling that Beth would face Maria this week

-Vickie is in the back hosting a cooking type segment where she talks about what she likes to cook for the holidays. Hornswoggle shows up and starts eating the turkey she made.

-R-Truth, Matt Hardy, John Morrison and Finlay defeated CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Drew Mcyntire, and Dolph Ziggler when Morrison pinned Ziggler.

-Chris Jericho comes out and cuts a promo and says he and Big Show should still be # 1 contenders and not the Hart Dynasty. Hart Dynasty come out and they say they respect him but they are the best ever period. DX comes on the tron and says they have a gift for Jericho which is a tickle-me-big show and show a graphic of it and when you tickle it, it farts. Shawn also has a gift for the Harts and its a one way trip back to Canada and he shows a graphic of what they can enjoy in Canada such as Hockey and Bears. Jericho tells the Hart Dynasty that is what DX is all about and tonight they have to "make an impact". Hart Dynasty then lay out Jericho with the Hart Attack.

-Rey Mysterio vs. Undertaker ended in a DQ when Batista came out and attacked Taker. Segment ends teasing a triple threat between them.

-Cryme Tyme def. Two guys who's name I didn't catch. Squash.

-Mickie James and Maria def. Layla and Beth Phoenix. Michelle McCool was on commentary. Beth laid out Mickie after the match.

- Another backstage segment with Vickie and Teddy where they talk about desserts. Hornswoggle comes in and pies Vickie and Teddy ends up getting a pie too.

-DX def. The Hart Dynasty. Afterwards Hornswoggle came out and it ends with DX and Hornswoggle in Santa hats posing and Hornswoggle saying Merry Christmas.

This Canadian on Canadian violence makes me sick! lol just kidding. Was a pretty entertaining SmackDown overall, all the matches were pretty solid aside from the Cryme Tyme match.

CM Punk comes to the ring with Luke Gallows. Punk began cutting a promo on the crowd for breaking their New Year's Resolutions already. He tried to lead the crowd in a pledge for the Straightedge Lifestyle. It was hilarious. Punk said he would save someone's life from the audience next week. He said he will set the best time tonight and at the Royal Rumble, he'll defeat The Undertaker and become the Four Time Straightedge World Heavyweight Champion.

Beat the Clock Challenge - CM Punk def. Matt Hardy
Punk hit GTS and won the match at 7:20. Luke Gallows went after Hardy after the bout. Hardy fought back and Punk jumped him. They left Hardy laying.

Beat the Clock Challenge - Dolph Ziggler drew Kane
They fought to a 7:20 draw. Kane was trapped in a rear choke as the time expired. Ziggler laid out Kane with Zig Zag afterwards. Competitive bout.

The Great Khali def. an Indy Worker
The guy was billed as The Carolina Panther, who wore a Panthers jersey for heat since the Panthers murdered the Giants over the weekend.

WWE Intercontinental Championship - Drew McIntrye def. John Morrison
McIntyre won the match by disqualifycation, Morrison hit a moonsault off the rail on the floor. Morrison got his foot tangled in between the middle and bottom rope so they worked it into the bout with McIntytre working on the leg. Morrison came back with a kick to the face. Morrison worked some of his springboard spots on one leg. McIntyre hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Morrison worked over McIntyre and the referee admonished him. As the ref turned around, McIntyre shoved Morrison into him and the ref DQ'd Morrison. Lame. Morrison attacked McIntyre in the aisle and the referees broke them up. Morrison, who took his boot off during the bout, sold the ankle all the way back.

Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix
Michelle McCool and Layla came down for commentary. Mickie got the win when Michelle McCool went to interfere and hit Phoenix by accident. Layla and McCool attacked James but Phoenix turned babyface and saved her. After running them off, Phoenix slapped Mickie's hand but then hit an Implant Buster.

Chris Jericho cut a promo saying he would be the face of everything in WWE and would win every title in 2010 once he and Big Show won the Unfied Tag Titles back from DX on Monday.

Beat the Clock Challenge - Rey Mysterio def. Chris Jericho
Rey pinned Jericho at 7:19. Good back and forth match. Mysterio went for the 619 but was caught and pulled into the Walls of Jericho. Mysterio made it to the ropes and hit a 619. He went for a spriing board splash but Jericho turned it into a Codebreaker. Mysterio kicked out and with one second left pinned Jericho with a small package. Mysterio beat the clock.

Hart Dynasty & Natalya def. Maria & Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J
Natalya put the Sharpshooter on Maria afterwards. There were small "We want Bret" chants.

Beat the Clock Challenge - Batista drew R-Truth
The went to a 7:19 draw. Rey Mysterio watched from ringside. Batista went for a powerbomb but Truth escaped and kicked him out of the ring. Truth hit a dive over the top to the floor. Batista took control on the floor and ran Truth into the ringpost. He threw Truth into the stairs and continued to beat him. Truth fired back but was caught with a Black Hole Slam. Batista went for a spear but Truth was able to sidestep him and nail a DDT for a two count. He kicked off a Batista charge and drop toeholded him into the corner. He went for a top rope legdrop but missed. Batista speared him but began jawing with Mysterio with a minute left. He nailed a powerbomb but with three seconds left, Mysterio pulled the ref out of the ring and the time expired, seems like Mysterio will be facing Undertaker at the Royal Rumble.

Vickie Guerrero comes out and says that she is sorry to Mysterio, but on Smackdown everyone follows the rules. She said it was clear as day that Mysterio cheated, so she announced Mysterio vs. Batista for the January 8th episode of Smackdown! to determine the true number one contender.

WWE taped this week's edition of SmackDown at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. Below are live spoilers:

* Batista opens SmackDown in the ring. He says that Vickie Guerrero tried to make things right last week, she's still not the General Manager so his match with Rey Mysterio won't happen. Batista calls out Teddy Long but instead Rey Mysterio comes out and says he's ready to go for tonight.

* Dolph Ziggler b. Kane
- Dolph got the win via countout.

* Michelle McCool, Layla El, and Beth Phoenix are backstage making fun of 'Piggy James'. Beth tells Layla that they have a match tonight and she better get serious. Layla and Michelle apologize to Beth for last week.

* Chris Jericho & The Hart Dynasty b. Cryme Time & R-Truth

* CM Punk comes out to the ring with Luke Gallows to "save" a member of the WWE Universe. They pick someone out of the crowd who appear to be a developmental worker. They ask him if he's ready to be safe. The "fan" responds "he thinks so". Punk says that he needs to cut his hair to become part of the "straightedge lifestyle". The "fan" is at first hesitant but finally agrees. Gallows pulls out an electronic razor and shaves his head.

* Luke Gallows b. Matt Hardy

* Teddy Long and Maria are backstage talking about the upcoming Celebrity Apprentice. Vickie Guerrero shows up and says she'd be part of the cast but she's been too busy. She asks Mario to do a sales pitch for the new WWE action figures. The Great Khali and Runjin Singh arrive. Khali says that Vickie's action figure reminds him of a cow.

* Beth Phoenix b. Layla El
- After the match Michelle McCool attacks Beth Phoenix. Mickie James comes out and makes the save but kicks Beth as well.

* Drew McIntyre is backstage with Josh Mathews. He said he will be the first Intercontinental Champion to win the Royal Rumble. John Morrison walks up and disagrees. Morrison smacks McIntyre.

* Rey Mysterio b. Batista
- Rey now earns a World Heavyweight Champion match at Royal Rumble. After the match Chris Jericho comes out like the Undertaker. Matt Hardy takes him out. Punk and Gallows take out Jericho and Batista. Kane comes out and takes out Punk and Mysterio. This ends this week's edition of SmackDown.

Wish HD will have won the tag match.

Im glad Rey won, but watch Batista get added in.

The Divas Storyline is getting good but they need to have the title match with Beth winning.
