lol at melina and nattie being one on one....was there a point in it being a tag,and at least this can lead to a no1 tender match between the two.

Matt getting a chance in the Main Event is better than Taker going in and taking the title only to drop it a month later.

^Im not talking about Taker dropping it a Month later, Im talking about Taker having a long run, he deserves one before he hangs it up.

SmackDown Opener:

CM Punk opens the show. Video highlights of his TLC match with Jeff Hardy at SummerSlam are shown. Punk talks about how he doesn't take any medication for pain, etc. Highlights are shown of Undertaker's return after the match. Jeff Hardy's music hits and out he comes to a monster reaction. Punk brings up a "loser leaves WWE" match. Hardy accepts. Teddy Long makes the match official for later tonight. The winner will face The Undertaker in a submission match at the Breaking Point PPV.

Matt Hardy & John Morrison vs. The Hart Dynasty

Great match. They gave it a reasonable amount of time. Hardy and Morrison won clean in the end.

Winners: Matt Hardy & John Morrison

Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth

This ended up in a no contest, as McIntyre attacked R-Truth before the bell, cut a quick promo and just left.

Winner: No Contest

Melina vs. Layla
Michelle McCool was out for commentary during this match. Melina ended up attacking her at one point. Finish came when Melina pinned Layla clean for the victory.

Winner: Melina

Unified Tag-Titles:
-Chris Jericho & Big Show (c) vs. Cryme Tyme

This started as a singles match but Teddy Long came out and ordered it to be a tag match for the titles. Jericho and Big Show ended up winning anyway to retain the belts.

Winners and STILL TAG-TEAM champions: Chris Jericho & Big Show

Intercontinental Title:
-Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Kane

Both guys had a terrible botched spot at one point. I wouldn't be surprised if that gets edited out, it was a bad one. Finish came when Kane was disqualified for ramming Rey into the ring post.

Winner via DQ: Rey Mysterio

After the match, Great Khali came out and brawled with Kane. Khali eventually threw Kane out of the ring. Dolph Ziggler also came out and laid out Mysterio.

World Title:
Steel-Cage - "Loser Leaves WWE"
-CM Punk vs. Jeff Hardy

Amazing match. Great final match for Jeff Hardy. Remember this was the "loser leaves WWE" stipulation in addition to being a steel cage match. CM Punk obviously got the win here to retain the World Heavyweight championship and send Jeff Hardy packing.

Winner and STILL World Heavyweight champion: CM Punk
After the match, Jeff Hardy cut a really good promo. He was saying his goodbyes and the crowd was really into it. As he was saying goodbye still, CM Punk attacked Jeff Hardy. This lead to Undertaker's music hitting. Undertaker came out and chokeslammed CM Punk.

Dark Match Main Event:
-John Cena & D-Generation X vs. Randy Orton & Legacy

Triple H cuts a comedy promo before the match. The finish came when D-Generation X scored a double pin on both Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. for the clean pin. John Cena was super-over, of course.

Winners: John Cena & D-Generation X

I agree with you but who are they going to get? Melina is the only capible diva on Smackdown and Eve isnt ready and Maria-NO COMMENT.

Unless they turn Nattie face but it may not happen right now. So we are stuck.

I just want Melina to win the title back and feud with Nattie. Michelle needs to get out of the spotlight for a while.

Go Punk, attacking him during his goodbyes was an amazing heel stunt. More heel heat.. I just hope Undertaker doesn't take the belt right off him. I really want a lengthy feud between these two. They could produce, amazing, great, fresh match-ups.

As for the rest of the show, it sounds watchable - I don't get why on Smackdown! they have a Raw dark match though.

WWE SmackDown: (Airing Friday)
* While SmackDown is being setup a video package of Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 is shown.

* CM Punk comes out with his face painted and dressed like Jeff Hardy. He cuts a promo on how Hardy is gone that we will never see him again. He receives massive heat. Punk then shoots on The Undertaker and how he is a big star. He challenges him to come to the ring. Matt Hardy comes out and cuts him off. Hardy attacks Punk while the crowd responds with a huge pop. Referees come out to break up the altercation.

* Teddy Long and CM Punk are shown talking about what just happened. Long announces that Matt Hardy will face Punk tonight.

* The Great Khali & Finlay b. Mike Knox & Kane
- Finlay starts off the match being dominated by Knox & Kane. Khali is tagged in and comes to the offense. Finlay gets the pin on Knox for the win.

* Vince McMahon is shown backstage with Teddy Long.

* Maria & Eve are shown backstage. Michelle comes up and says that Dolph will leave her. Melina comes up and threatens Michelle with a knuckle sandwich. Maria tells her to stay out of her business.

* John Morrison vs. Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship is up next
- John Morrison b. Rey Mysterio to become the new Intercontinental Champion
- Great back and forth match that lasted about 20 minutes. It was described to me as pay-per-view quality.

- R-Truth comes out to the ring. He is attacked by Drew McIntyre who is wearing a dress shirt. After the attack, McIntyre cuts a promo.

- Maria & Eve b. Natalya & Layla
- Eve gets thew in with the pin on Layla

- Josh Mathews is in the back interviewing Matt Hardy. The lights go out...An Undertaker promo is shown and the lights come back on.
- Matt Hardy vs. CM Punk ends in disqualification

- CM Punk is out first followed by Matt. Slow action
throughout with several long two counts. CM Punk goes for a chair shot when the "gong" hits and Undertaker appears. He chokeslams Punk through the announce table. This ends this week's SmackDown.

It doesn't make sense, but for some part it does... Ziggler had like 2/3 chances? Most casual fans would think his chances would be up. That does make sense.

This gives Morrison more of a push, and gives him what I think can produce classic matches with Ziggler. Ziggler can still play the heel challenger.. he can do it well, in my opinion.

It's like HBK vs Mr.Perfect. Woo.

Im glad Morrison won, Maybe Dolph will get it after John holds it a while.

Well that makes sense but that's what is great about feuds, Rey was dominating but Dolph was going to get it eventually, now Morrison jumps right in front out of nowhere(I assume) and wins the title? Just a few weeks ago, he was in the Main Event scene with Punk and Jeff. I like him, dont get me wrong but I would have had Dolph win it and feud with someone like R Truth while Morrison main events.

R-Truth isn't liked by management, though he is over, it wouldn't happen.

Dolph versus Morrison will be an awesome feud, I do know that much.

AS FOR Morrison being greater than Ziggler, I'm sorry, but.. Morrison hasn't shown me enough other skills besides aerial attacks for me to believe that. He's kinda over-hyped.

As for Morrison, I liked his matches against CM Punk in his days as ECW champ, and still a fan to this day, I just don't like he gets so much love because he's an aerial artist.

Show opens up with Teddy Long arriving in his limo. As he walks backstage he is surrounded by security guards.

Batista comes to the ring for an interview. He says that it was his choice to come to Smackdown because it is the "A Show". Jericho comes out and they have words. Batista announces that his first match back is tonight and it will be against Jericho. Batista then slams Jericho to the mat.

Backstage Jericho confronts the Big Show and asks why he didn't come out. Jericho tells Show not to come out during the main event because he can beat Batista himself.

John Morrison pinned Mike Knox after the Starship Pain (Dolph Ziggler was on commentary). After the match Morrison got on the mic and taunted Ziggler and the crowd started chanting "Mr Ziggles".

Backstage Josh Matthews interviewed referee Scott Armstrong (they used his name). Armstrong said that he knew what he did at Breaking Point was wrong, and he regretted it but he had to do it to save his own job.

Melina pinned Michelle McCool in a non title match. Melina was bleeding from the mouth.

Backstage Vince McMahon congratulates Teddy Long on shaking up Smackdown by bringing in Batista. He also asked Teddy what he was thinking by screwing over the Undertaker. "Do you know what the Undertaker is going to do to you?". Vince tells Teddy to go out to the ring to explain himself to the fans.

Teddy comes out to the ring (surrounded by security). He said that he had to shake things up on Smackdown and he was too old to try new things so he went with what he knew worked. He said he hoped the Undertaker could find it in his heart to forgive him.

Teddy walks back to his limo with his security. He gets in the limo by himself (and apparently a camera man). The driver rolls down the window and it is the Undertaker. The limo starts to fill with smoke and the limo drives off.

C.M. Punk came out for interview bragging about his straight edge lifestyle and claiming that "straight edge means I'm better than you"

The Hart Dynasty beat Cryme Tyme.

Backstage we see Melina walk into the Diva's locker room. The walls are covered with pictures of Dolph Ziggler and Michelle McCool from last week. Melina starts frantically taking the pictures down so that Maria won't see them. Maria walks in and says that Dolph already explained everything to her already. She also said she doesn't want to be friends with Melina anymore.

Khali beat Kane by DQ after Kane delivered a hard chairshot to Khali's head. After the match Kane crushed Khali's leg with the ring steps and Khali was stretchered out.

Charlie Haas came out for a match with R-Truth. Drew McIntyre came out and said that R-Truth had an accident and would be unable to compete tonight which means that Haas wins by forfeit. McIntyre shook hands with Haas, but then laid Hass out after he turned his back.

In the main event Batista pinned Chris Jericho.

Oooh sounds like a pretty good show to me.

lmfao, the Undertaker has no heart.....

Oh well Teddy deserves what ever Undertaker has planned for him.

I haven't paid attention to Smackdown! in forever, but now that Undertaker is back & the fact that his current storyline is goodz, i'ma check that shiit out!
