Swagger deserves to be a star, his the next Angle. And Dead, we can't expect Melina marks to like someone different in the spotlight can we?

I'm all for different people winning as well if they actually IMPRESS ME. Swagger hasn't impressed me. Oh well though, this just screams transitional champion anyway so hope he enjoys it!

Smackdown starts with Chris Jericho coming down to the ring....mixed reaction when he cuts a great promo about keeping the World Title at WrestleMania 26.

Jericho is awesome on the microphone, getting great heat from the crowd.

Edge comes out to a huge pop. Edge says that he thinks he should get a rematch right now. Jericho is not taking the bait.

Edge starts beating up Jericho and ripping off his clothes to reveal taped ribs. Edge then spears Jericho. Jack Swagger then comes out to cash in MITB. Swagger hit Edge with the briefcase. The bell rings and Swagger WINS THE BELT with a power bomb. He walks out of the ring with the world title. The crowd is stunned.

Commercial time and Jericho is being helped from the ring. He's in shock. He starts throwing a tantrum up the ramp. The crowd is buzzing.

John Morrison and R Truth vs. Cryme Tyme is next. Very short. Cryme Tyme are total jobbers. Morrison wins with Starship Pain in about 1 minute. Cryme Tyme then turn on each other with Shad looking like he's turning heel. He beat up JTG pretty good. JTG gets helped to the back.

Swagger in the back halls with World T bragging to anyone who'll listen. He has a short conversation with Shelton Benjamin pretty funny stuff. Swagger is showing some personality.

They show an interview with Shad about it being his time, not very good.

Drew McIntyre is next vs. Matt Hardy. Hardy is way over. Really quick match with Drew ramming Hardy into post and DDTing him laying him out.

Dolph Ziggler defeated Great Khali.

CM Punk wants a rematch with Rey Mysterio. He is going to put his hair on the line against Mysterio, who must join the Straight Edge Society if he loses. Mysterio did not come out to accept. This is likely an Extreme Rules match, but it's unclear at this point.

Beth Phoenix and Tiffany beat Michelle McCool and Layla.

Kane vs. all eight members of NXT in an elimination tag match ended in a DQ. The finish came when all the NXT members jumped Kane at once.

Teddy Long announced that Edge will face Chris Jericho next week for a shot at Jack Swagger and the World Title.

Great Khali is going back to India

* Edge is out to the ring for a promo. He thanks the fans and says he doesn't want to go to Raw. Christian comes out and they have a moment. Christian calls Edge a liar. Edge plays dumb at first but finally says Christian is right - he can't wait to go to Raw. They brawl and Edge runs away.

* WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix & Kelly Kelly b. Michelle McCool & Layla

* Dolph Ziggler comes out and cuts a promo about what he did to Hornswoggle on Raw on Monday.

* We go backstage to an interview with Matt Hardy. WWE Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre takes him out.

* JTG puts himself over in a promo.

* CM Punk come outs and is interrupted by MVP. The Straight Edge Society beats down MVP. Rey Mysterio comes out for the save. Teddy Long comes out and sets up Rey Mysterio & MVP vs. CM Punk vs. Luke Gallows. The match is up now.

* Rey Mysterio & MVP b. CM Punk & Luke Gallows. After the match, the guy in the hood (Alex Riley) attacks Mysterio during the post-match celebration.

Someone who attends the tapings reported this right? How is was it edited? You may dislike him Dead but don't act as if MVP gets no reactions, because he does.

On Raw he was barely used (the only thing I remember was the feud with Miz) Raw was pretty much shit during that time, MVP was lost in the shuffle and now he's back home (Smackdown) where he belongs.

i felt he was pretty over, when he was first drafted because he was a "hot" topic as far as up and coming superstars where concerned, but just like most ppl, once they arent being made a focus, and are not being pushed as ppl expected, and are demoted to a lackluster tag team, or us title feud, they are bound to lose fan support....the last few months he has been no where near over

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Kofi Kingston defeated Christian to win the Intercontinental Title. This match alone will make Friday's show worth watching. The crowd was into it the whole time. Kofi won with Trouble in Paradise.

After the match, Drew McIntyre came out and handed a letter to Teddy Long. After reading the letter, Teddy asked Kofi for the title. Kofi initially refused to give it to him, but eventually gave in. Teddy gave the title belt back to McIntyre, who was pretty much booed out of the building. They wasted a great match. Kofi stood in the ring fuming after Drew left for a couple minutes before leaving.

After commercial, Matt Striker read the letter and was booed completely. Everyone is pissed over this. WWE did a great job generating heat. The letter that McIntyre presented to Long stated that Teddy is irresponsible and abused his power. It also stated that McIntyre is a gentleman who signifies what the future of WWE is. Per the letter, McIntyre is reinstated to the active roster and is once again recognized as the Intercontinental Champion. It was signed by Vince McMahon.

* Shad Gaspard beat a local wrestler. Total squash match that went on longer than it should have. The crowd was pretty dead for it until the end. Shad got more cheers than heat, which is not good if they want him to be a monster heel.

* MVP and JTG beat The Dudebusters. The crowd was behind JTG and MVP. They had no idea of who the Dudebusters were. MVP and JTG won when MVP hit what seems to be a new finisher.

After tag match they showed the Straight Edge Society. Punk preached about how he saw doubt in them and that they weren't coming to ringside for his match against Rey Mysterio tonight.

Crew members set up Jack Swaggers trophies.

Swagger came out for his presentations of his trophies. He delivered a long promo that was actually pretty good. He gained a lot of heat from it, booed constantly.

The Big Show came out and was cheered incredibly. The crowd was into Big Show big time and kept booing swagger. Show proceeded to touch and break swaggers trophies. Swagger tried to attack Show, but was thrown out of the ring. Show went on to smash all of the trophies while Swagger watched from outside of the ring. Show then punted swaggers football into the crowd After destroying everything, Show posed with the World Title as Swagger flipped out on the outside.

They continued to hype Rey Mysterio vs. C.M. Punk.

Teddy Long came out and announced Show vs. Swagger for the World Hvt. Championship, which will probably be the dark match.

Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes was up next. The hometown girl returned (Beth Phoenix) and received the biggest pop of the night and a standing ovation. Before the match, Vickie Guerrero came out and introduced herself as the general manager of Raw and told Rosa to leave the ring. She said Michelle McCool has invoked her rematch clause and for the first time ever the women's title will be defended in a 2 on 1 handicap match. Beth vs leycool.

* Michelle McCool and Layla defeated Beth Phoenix, so McCool won the WWE Women's Championship. During the match, a "Let's Go Buffalo" chant broke out in support of Beth. Beth was selling the knee injury and had a brace on it. I can't remember the last time I saw the crowd this into a women's title match.

The match ended when McCool and Beth butted heads. After Michelle rolled out of the ring, Layla made the cover. The winner and new women's champion is Michelle McCool. After the match, they mocked Beth as she sold the knee heavily and received a standing ovation as she was helped off.

* Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero. Chavo put up a fight at first, then kane ended it with a chokeslam. Predictable match.

They again hyped rey vs punk for later tonight

They showed Teddy and Drew. Teddy told Drew that next week it will be McIntyre vs. Big Show.

* Rey Mysterio beat C.M. Punk by DQ. Another great match. Rey hit the 619 and then the masked guy came out from under the ring to attack him for the DQ. After the match, the SES posed in the ring, with the masked guy to close the show.

Awwww poor Kofi.

WTF?!?! If Layla made the cover, then why isn't she the champ??? and what the hell was point of the IC tournament if they're just going to give the title back to Drew, that whole thing seems like a complete and totally waste of time.

Gallows and Sarena are running down young drinking in Canada. Punk leads the Straight Edge Pledge. All three have their heads shaved bald. Rey Mysterio comes out and shows photos on the screen of what Punk would look like bald. An irate Punk attacks all the pledges out of frustration.

* Layla and Michelle McCool (announced as the co-Women's champions) defeated Tiffany and Kelly Kelly.

* Big Show does a promo on the Titantron making fun of Jack Swagger.

* JTG pinned Caylen Croft.

* Vickie Guerrero is speaking with Christian backstage. She asks who the first guest on the new Peep show will be. She intimates it should be her. Christian says he wants viewers, so no.

* Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins defeat Ontario independents wrestlers Jeremy Prophet and Tyler Tirva.

* More Big Show ripping on Jack Swagger on the Titantron.

* Kofi Kingston pinned WWE World champion Jack Swagger with a high cross bodyblock in a non-title match when Big Show distracted Swagger.

* The Guest on the Peep Show is Hornswoggle. Christian teaches Hornswoggle how to speak Canadian and say 'eh', as well as beer and hockey. Vickie and Chavo Guerrero come out. Vickie says she's shutting down the Peep Show. Christian calls Vickie a moose. Hornswoggle hides in a box. Chavo enters the ring. Ziggler attacks Christian from behind, laying him out.

* Rey Mysterio & MVP defeated CM Punk & Luke Gallows. Mysterio gets the pin on Punk, despite an attempt by the hooded S.E.S. member to interfere.

* Big Show defeated WWE Intercontinental champ Drew McIntyre by DQ.

* CM Punk b. Kane after hitting GTS. Punk botched GTS badly two times and he received a lot of heat from the crowd not because of being over but because he couldn't properly execute his finisher. Kane completely flopped out of it after the second attempt which was followed by a pinfall.

* Christian & Hornswoggle b. Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler after Christian hit the Kill Switch on Chavo.

* The Undertaker b. Rey Mysterio. Undertaker displayed some ring rust and both were off. After the match, Jack Swagger came out and starting beating up on Mysterio. R-Truth, MVP, Christian, JTG and Matt Hardy came out and beat up on Swagger to end the show.
