Did You Go to Catholic School?

I was wondering after watching the movie Doubt.

If you did do you think it was worth the extra money?

Did you like it, hate it, or were indifferent?

Would you ever send your kids to Catholic school?

I did for 2 years.

It was ok i guess.

I'm not catholic, so i wouldn't send my kids there

I attended a class at my church for about 10 years. You actually make your graduation or "confirmation", your 10th year. Unfortunantly, over time a bunch of foreigners took over the church, so I was pretty much the only person in my class, along with one other person maybe (one whom I remember stopped going because of it) who spoke english. My last year, they decided to skip class have a suprise celebration for their "guadalupe", without even concidering to call us before class to let us know. So, here I am in the middle of this shit, I ended up sitting out for an hour & a half waiting for my parents because apparently, I couldn't make a phone call. On top of that, it was in the winter time. I was so pissed. The whole thing was un-american, it felt like I was living in the foreign country.

I ended up quiting.

I tried to be as brief & kind with that story as I possibly could.

i was in catholic school for 3 years in middle school, it was ok

i dont follow any type of religion so i'll never send my daughter to any religious school.

and no i never went to catholic school. i went to public school

No, I went to a ghetto ass school, one of the bathrooms was blown up, some dude got stabbed there, some chick got her hair set on fire, one of the female teachers beat p one of the male students and that was consider a good day.

that's why i couldnt be a high school teacher. I'd be too tempted to kick some kid's ass for being a jackass.

i went to some ghetto ass public schools, the same ghetto ass public schools tank went to in fact. but i don't think i would pay for my kids to go to catholic school see as i'm not catholic

Nope, I went to public school. But, we did have a Catholic school about a 3 minute walk away from our school. Kids there were lousy...I remember everytime during recess (our recess was during a different time than theres) They would come to our field and throw garbage on it. During Winter times, they would knock down our snowmen that we built...yeah...lol.

I wouldn't send my kids to a Catholic school, going to a public school was a lot of fun for me, I want them to have the same luxury.

No, i wouldnt tolerate it. I went to public schools only in the hood and in the suburbs.

It's soo weird, catholic schools were i'm from is pretty much like all other schools here, nothing diffrent. Only diffrence is that in the 3rd grade they must have their first communion. But that's it. I myslef is catholic but went to a protestant school or well a christian school.
