Divas Match of the year 2010:Nominee 1

Well seeing that two months have passed, we've had a long list of shitty TV matches. But thus far there is only one match that has IMO gained it's nomination as a potential Match of the Year 2010. Oddly it's not a Divas Title, Knockout Title or even Women's Championship match.

The first Nominee is: Hamada & Awesome Kong vs. Taylor Wilde & Sarita (Knockouts championship match) on impact Januari 4th 2010.

This match was innovative, the crowd was hot and all the women were on fire. This is also potentially the last Knockouts match in the 6 sided ring.

We saw the crazy high flying, quick lucha style of Sarita and Taylor Wilde. Hamada worked through an injury in this match. While kong'ss presence as usual always a great factor in any match.


This is the best above average match when it comes to televised women's matches. We had a commercial break during this match, but despite that, this was a spectacular match and gets my nod as so far, the top women's match all year.

It was pretty good.

If I had to say a wwe diva's match so far I guess it would be the women's title match from this past Friday where McCool won back the belt since it was pretty long and had some nice spots.

For Raw divas I would vote for Gail v Katie Lea on superstars.

I would also say Mickie vs Michelle from recently was a very good match. It had the storyline build up, heel heat from Vickie, and was just well played out, and the chemistry was there.

Well I don't even know if the matches I listed would make the final ballot of nominees but so far they are the best matches imo.

I would love for them to have stiff competition but then again most of the time divas matches are given short amounts of time on Raw especially.

i think that the tag match on Superstars with Eve and Kelly against Alicia and Katie Lea was brilliant. it was the right length and kept me interested, plus it's the first match Katie Lea has won in a while
