Lisa Moretti powers out of a Roxxi headlock. Roxxi takes a vertical suplex. Powerslam from Lisa Moretti on Roxxi. Hooks the leg for a two count. Roxxi blocks the suplex attempt. Roxxi, chanelling the power of Takada, hits a high kick on Lisa Moretti. There's a two count on the pin. Northern Lights Bomb very nearly crushes the spine of Moretti. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Lisa Moretti ducks a clothesline attempt. Uninspiring brawling from Lisa Moretti. Roxxi reverses a waistlock. Stun Gun from Roxxi! There used to be this blonde guy in WCW in the early 90's who used that...i wonder what happened to him? Roxxi moves in for the kill. Voodoo Drop!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!! Roxxi extends her hand to Moretti...but it is ignored! Worth a ** rating, but no more than that.

Gut buster, Melina hits hard. Natalya hits a delayed suplex on Melina. Cover for a two count. Wicked suplex out of the corner from Natalya, executed well. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Melina ducks a clothesline attempt. Back heel kick from Melina on Natalya, missed by miles. Pinfall attempt gets a 2.9999. Natalya pushes out of a Melina hold. Natalya floors Melina. Here it comes...Sharpshooter! Melina taps! Natalya goes into the crowd, where she celebrates her victory A good *** rating.

Stephanie McMahon is backstage in her office. The debuting Madusa walks in, and asks what she has to do to get a job. Stephanie McMahon says that she has to prove that she is good enough first. Stephanie books her against Dawn Marie, and tells her that if she can win, she can have a full-time job.

Throat thrust from Dawn. Smell the talent. Dawn Marie uses some crappy looking kicks. Dawn Marie with a sloppy back bodydrop on Madusa. Dawn Marie misses a clothesline. Brutal forearm by Madusa. Dawn Marie is in trouble. Here it comes - Bridging German Suplex. 1....2...3, it's finished. Dawn is pounding the canvas with punches, shouting about how unfair everything is. DUD.

Maryse vs Cherry :
Cherry hits a shaky delayed suplex on Maryse. Ugly-looking short powerbomb by Cherry. Face-first suplex from Cherry, but not done very well. Pinfall attempt gets a 2.9999. Amateur-style takedown from Cherry, capitalising on that *huge* demand for amateur wrestling that we see every day. Cover for a two count. Maryse backdrops Cherry out of a piledriver attempt. Cherry gets hip tossed by Maryse. Maryse uses a running dropkick into the corner, although it looked more like a badly done leg lariat if you ask me. Hell, maybe that's what it was supposed to be. Cherry avoids a Maryse avalanche. Brutal forearm by Cherry. Cherry moves in for the kill. Hammerlock DDT! 1....2....3. Nikkita comes running down the aisle, and gets into the ring! Cherry is ready though, and strikes first! Cherry spins Nikkita around. Cherry hits the Hammerlock DDT! Nikkita has been left down on the canvas. The attempted ambush has backfired. It was close to a ** match, but one too many blown spots knocks it down to a *1\2 rating.

Nikkita with an evil smile accepts the challenge, with one stipulation, that stipulation being, that the match is a LADDER MATCH. Cherry accepts. The challenge is accepted.

Number One Contendors Match for the All Female World Title
Standing leg lariat by Gail Kim on Flash. Kick from Amy Dumas to the leg. Dumas only gets knees on a splash. Dumas takes a hurrancarana from Alissa Flash. Flying cross body off the top rope! I'll give a 0.8 on the Steamboat scale for that effort. Hooks the leg for a two count. Dumas face jams Alissa Flash. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Flash reverses a Amy Dumas hammerlock. Flash crushes Dumas with a running senton. Vicious kick to the teeth from Gail Kim. Beth Phoenix comes running down the aisle with a chair! Flash goes to irish whip Gail Kim into the ropes. Phoenix prepares to swing the chair...but Gail Kim reverses! Phoenix accidentally smacks Flash with a chair to the back! Gail Kim has Alissa Flash down on the canvas. Here it comes...Flying Dragon! Alissa Flash taps! *** rating for a good bout.

Cherry walks into a stiff lariat clothesline from Nikkita. Ladder-shot by Nikkita. Vertical suplex by Nikkita. Nikkita snap suplexes Cherry...with authority! ('With authority', trademark G.Monsoon 1986.) Nikkita walks into a trip. Suplex onto the ladder by Cherry. Suplex into a front slam from Cherry, but the execution was crap. Nikkita blocks a kick from Cherry. Reverse DDT on Cherry. Belly to belly off the top rope, Cherry got folded up big time. Cherry drops out the back of a Nikkita bodyslam attempt. Nikkita walks into a chop to the pecs. Nikkita reverses a hip toss. Stun Gun from Nikkita! There used to be this blonde guy in WCW in the early 90's who used that...i wonder what happened to him? Cherry is in trouble. Kat Nip!!! That shook the ring. Nikkita goes up ladder and grabs the prize for the win. Nikkita slides out of the ring to the floor, then turns and leaves through the crowd. She's happy to have the win, and isn't going to hang around for Cherry to get some payback. I'll give it a ** rating.
