| Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series:
Let’s start out with someone who was snubbed completely last year.
Jeremy Piven – Entourage His role as the bad mouth agent has served to be amazing. He has won the EMMY in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and has been nominated since 2005. 2009 was the first year he wasn’t nominated. Which sucked, so I hope to see his name again amongst the nominees. Although he doesn’t need another win lol.
Kevin Dillon – Entourage He was nominated in 2008, although his chances are slimmer this time around. He has a slight slight slight chance of getting noticed.
Tracey Morgan & Jack McBryer – 30 Rock
Now his roles as tiny brained, small minded Tracy Jordan has served to be funny. His role finally got recognized by the Academy last year, when he got his first EMMY Nominee for his role last year. Will they once again give him another nominee? I wouldn’t be surprised. Jack McBryer also received his first Nominee last year. So he could be amongst the nominees this year again. His Role as Kenneth Parcell has been amazing thus far. 30 Rock had 5 Nominations for it’s main cast last year, this could be the case again. It’s without counting guest roles, which this season could go to Julliane Moore.
Neil Patrick Harris & Jason – How I Met Your Mother
He is also another strong contender for this award. He has played his role greatly all season long. So he could come off with the win this time. Jason Siegel has also proven to be a real funny man. I’d love to see him and Harris Both get nominated.
Jon McCryer – Two and a Half Men
We can’t keep out last years Winner, he will be another strong nominee on the list, that’s for sure.
Rainn Wilson & Ed Helms – The Office
Another pair of guys who could show up on the nominee list. Wilson was nominated last year, while Helms name was tossed around a bit, but didn’t get nominated.
Damn, I guess best supporting actors comes in pairs??
The Odd Bunch:
Hamish Linklater – The New Adventures of Old Christine
Well his role as Christine’s brother has been amazing. He is funny, great sarcasting comedy. Hopefully he finally get recognized for his role.
Michael Urie – Ugly Betty
Marc St. James has been an amazing character to watch on TV. His ability to portray his character so well and his eyes just tells a story. He could be a contender for this category especially with Betty being canceled.
Justin Kirk – WEEDS
Come on, he deserves this, one show’s acting who goes un credited is WEEDS, his role as Andy Botwin has been nominated. Hell he should have been nominated since he lost his toe.
Ken Maroni - Part Down Lord this guy is sooo funny and irritating, you want to punch him. lol. really.
Young Power
We have some young guys who have been performing amazingly and are stand outs amongst the long list of young actors.
Alexander Gould – WEEDS
His role as Shane Botwin has been amazing. We have seen this boy develop from nerdy little weird kid to big time pot dealer. He truly deserves some credit and he could be a possible nominee, but his chances are still slim
Atticus Shaffer – The Middle
This 11 year old over came the odds and are one of the most entertaining kids on TV. He steals the scene and is truly a stand out in The Middle. You gotta love Brick……*whisper* Brick
The following two stand out with actual chance of getting nominated
Chris Colfer – GLEE
He has gotten major development in GLEE and the critics have been raving about his acting and calling him EMMY worthy, that might just happen, but there is another teen who is dealing with his sexuality on TV that might out shine him….who is? Well let me get to the next possible nominee.
Keir Gilchrist – The United States of Tara
He has been getting great reviews for his acting as the teenage son of Toni Collette in the United States of Tara. He might actually get nominated this year, he has been in the eyes of the academy last year, he was nominated for an EWWY, so you never know.
Here is a little view, missing 2 people i mentioned but meh.

| Tracy Morgan I HATE HIM WITH A PASSION! He better not get nominated. Why is Barney from How I Met Your Mother supporting? He seems more like lead material to me. My wish list- Kurt from GLEE (Definitely has a great shot, he is fantastic) - Cameron from Modern Family - Barney from How I Met Your Mother - The Whipped husband from Cougar Town - Jay from Modern Family That would be a great group for that category but watch idiots from 30 Rock get nominated instead | |
