Why bother being nice to people?

if they cant even give you a thank you for your effort? If they just ignore you and continue to be a jackass, why should you be nice to them?

Because you try to see the good in people. I know how it feels, to do your best for people and have them walk all over you eventually. Trust me, keep your chin up and just try to continue to be nice, it will eventually pay off, it just has a horrible road leading too it.

I like to think of it this way; if I carry on the cycle of being a jackass to people, then noone will be able to stop it. If you still be nice like Kev said, at last your not turning out like them. The way I see it, if you can't be nice, then your not worth it.

i am finding it to be a wasted effort.

cause if they continue to be a jackass, they think theyre above you. tbh its not worth trying to be nice to an idiot

exactly how i have been feeling lately. No point in being nice to assholes.
