9/11/1973—Mr. Fuji and Professor Tanaka defeat Haystacks Calhoun and Tony Garea, to win the WWWF World Tag Team Championship.

9/11/1995—Sabu debuts on WCW “Monday Nitro,” defeating Alex Wright. The decision is reversed, after Sabu puts Wright through a table, after the match was over.

9/11/2001—the usual Tuesday night WWF “Smackdown” taping is canceled due to the terrorist attacks. “Smackdown” would be aired live, from Houston, two days later. It was the first major event to be held, after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

9/11/2005—highlights from 2005 TNA “Unbreakable” PPV
-Abyss defeats Sabu, in a no-disqualification match
-The Naturals defeat America’s Most Wanted, Team Canada, and Alex Shelley / Johnny Candido, to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship (4-way elimination match).
-Raven defeats Rhino, to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (Raven’s Rules match).
-AJ Styles defeats Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe, to win the TNA X Division Championship (3-way dance).

9/11/2009—Jeff Hardy is arrested for various drug charges.
