9/16/1961—Tex Riley and Len Rossi defeat Dante and Mephisto, to win the NWA Southern Tag Team Championshp (Mid-America version).
9/16/1981—Gerald Brisco defeats Les Thornton, to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
9/16/1985—The Sheepherders defeat The Fabulous Ones, to win the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship.
9/16/1996—Monday Night War ratings….WCW Nitro scores a 3.7 TV rating, while WWF Monday Night Raw scores a 2.1 rating.
9/16/1999—with help from Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vince McMahon defeats Triple H, to become the new WWF Champion. Shane McMahon was special guest referee.
9/16/2007—highlights from 2007 WWE “Unforgiven”
