Welcome to Diva Dirt’s This Week in History, where each week we’ll take a look back at some of the most memorable moments in women’s wrestling from years gone by.

So, join us in taking a trip down memory lane…

*August 30th, 2004: It was rumored to be the highest rated segment of the entire episode -- Diss the Diva will forever be remembered as the single most epic moment in Diva Search history. You couldn't script this! You certainly won't be hearing the words "cum guzzling gutter slut" on WWE programming today. These girls went hard. WWE has since tried to recreate Diss the Diva on the female version of NXT, but it will always pale in comparison to Christy, Joy, Amy and Carmella in 2004.

*September 3rd, 2007: Vince McMahon certainly had his way with the Divas lockerroom -- from Trish to Torrie to Candice to Melina. Unluckily for Melina, she was one of the few who was caught. In a backstage segment, Melina came face to face with Stephanie and Linda McMahon. Let's just say they were feeling particularly slap happy that night...

*August 29th, 2008: Remember when Brie Bella was once believed to be a solitary woman? Yeah, that didn't last very long. In her debut match against Victoria, Brie was soon joined by her twin Nikki, pulling the very first Bella switcheroo and outwitting Victoria to get the win. This match still stands as the only time a Bella switcheroo was believably confusing. Fast forward three years later and we're seriously considering putting together a fund to buy the WWE referees some thorough eye exams.

*August 30th, 2010: LayCool, the self-made co-Women's Champions, weren't happy to be on the losing end of a tag team match against Eve Torres and Divas Champion Melina. Post-match, they grabbed a pair of microphones and told Melina that it was time to see who the real champion was, challenging her to a title unification match that would merge the Women's and Divas Championships into one. Does that mean we have LayCool to thank for the demise of the Women's Championship? If that doesn't make them the biggest heels in Diva history, we don't know what could.

*September 2nd, 2010: After months hiding under a mask and aiding Madison Rayne, on the September 2nd edition of Impact, the Mystery Biker Chick was finally revealed in one of the worst kept secrets in the Knockouts division. Of course, it was Tara under the mask as she and Madison began their unholy alliance that would last several months.

Damn... We've been dissing Christy so much here, and you had to remind me of her classic line. Ah, the Ruthless Aggression Era... You just don't hear lines like "cum guzzling gutter slut" any more on Raw.

I LOVE that Diss the Divas [04] segment!

So awesome how those girls hated Carmella.

That easily is my favorite thing that happened this week that was posted in the article.

Everything else doesn't really stand out and some of the stuff was unfortunate [imo] news [Women's/Divas Titles unifying. ].
