WWE Raw on Monday, October 17 scored a 3.10 rating, down from a 3.25 rating for last week's follow-up to the "walk-out" angle.
The taped episode averaged 4.48 million viewers, down ten percent compared to last week. Raw averaged one million fewer viewers in the first hour compared to last week's first hour (4.32 million viewers this week vs. 5.38 million viewers last week).
This week's second hour - featuring Jim Ross & John Cena vs. Del Rio & Michael Cole - increased to an average of 4.64 million viewers, which was even with last week's average of 4.68 million viewers in the second hour following the big decline from Hour 1 to Hour 2.
-- Raw's overall rating was the second-highest of the fall season behind last week's show. Through the first seven weeks of fall 2011, Raw has averaged a 3.00 flat rating. Raw averaged a 2.98 rating through the same number of weeks in fall 2010.
-- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 behind ESPN's Monday Night Football game in overall viewers, key male demos, and adult female demos. Raw took a hit among teen males 12-17, dropping to #5 on the night.
-- In comparison to 2010, this week's overall rating was virtually even with a 3.08 rating the same week last year.
Among male and adult demographics, the 2011 Raw was up significantly vs. the same week in 2010. Teen males have taken a significant hit, though. This year's Raw was down more than one full ratings point compared to last year (2.1 vs. 3.3). | |
