| Subject: June 21st Impact Ratings Are in: Ratings Lose Momentum in 4th Week.. Sat 23 Jun 2012, 6:22 am | |
| http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/TNA_News_1/article_62713.shtml
After TNA built some ratings momentum following a slow start in a new timeslot, Impact retreated this week. Impact on Thursday, June 21 scored a 0.97 rating, down from a 1.02 rating last week, but the third consecutive show to round to a 1.0.
Impact averaged 1.24 million viewers, down eight percent from last week's average of 1.34 million viewers. It was the fewest viewers during the summer series and the fewest in two years dating back to June 24, 2010.
On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked #37 on cable TV, #15 among males 18-34, and #15 among males 18-49, which was the lowest m18-49 ranking since April. Impact was up against 18 million viewers for the NBA Finals finale on broadcast TV, but the show did not fare well on cable TV, trailing comedy repeats on TBS and "World's Dumbest" on TruTV.
The key demos were the same as last week, indicating TNA lost the older-than-49-years-old demographic, likely to the NBA Finals. Impact gained younger male viewers, improving in males 12-17 and males 12-34 to the highest rating in both demos since May 10.
Caldwell's Analysis: Now that the NBA Finals are over, it's time to see if TNA can actually sustain some ratings momentum. Presently, the show appears to be stuck at the same audience level they've been at since moving to prime time on Spike TV several years ago. It also appears that being live has not had an impact on ratings during the first four weeks of the summer series.

| What is happening in TNA?
Did the Roode/Aries match happen yet? WTF ever happened to Sarita (& Sarita for that matter)?
TNA frustrates me as much with her as WWE does with Ziggler.

What's happening in TNA? Well, in the case of the most recent episode, mostly 2-3 minute matches between 35-40 minutes worth of segments centered on the Hogans & Dixie. "Wrestling matters!" | |

| Yeah I didn't watch this past episode except the KO stuff however damn they sure had a LOT of matches that were < 4 minutes each!
WTF?
I don't know if the BFG series can have tag matches but they really should do that so that they can use 4 or 6 [maybe even 8] guys in one match so that it gets time and the other matches in the show also get more time..
And yeah NCD they really need to use Sarita + Rosita more..
