WWE Smackdown on Friday, June 29 scored a 1.82 rating, down nine percent from the previous week's seasonal high 2.00 rating.
Smackdown averaged 2.63 million viewers, down 340,000 viewers (11 percent) compared to last week's seasonal high. Smackdown was four percent below the yearly average.
On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #7 in overall viewers, #1 in key male demos, and #3 in teen males.
Smackdown was down nearly two-tenths of a rating in every demo compared to last week. The exception was males 18-49, which was down three-and-a-half-tenths of a rating (26 percent) to where the show was two weeks ago. This was after last week's show hit a near-high for the year in m18-49.
Caldwell's Analysis: Essentially, the gains realized the previous week were erased on the most-recent episode. Smackdown is right back where it was during the post-WrestleMania lull period leading into Tuesday's live episode. | |
