| ive said it before, this is why i cant stand marks. they want ppls opinions and then rip them because they disagree with what they have to say. Cena is pure fucking trash, plain and simple. his skills havent increased in 4 years, he still has the same 5 fucking moves of doom, and he "overcomes the odds" every fucking week, not to mention hes driven down our throat every week. now, if you wanna rip me because i bashed the bitch, then go ahead. because this isnt a debate if your gonna attack everyone who hates Cena | |

Umm, i think the only one who needs to chill, is you. You have something to say about everyone's opinion here. Like I said before, it doesn't matter what people think, & don't tell me I don't know the meaning of a debate, I don't care. I'm just stating the fact, you should like Cena & be proud & not care if others don't. This is just a debate for you to "correct" everyone's different opinions. Whoops, I threw the opinion card again.

but on one note HLR have u ever thought of calling the thousands of cena fans sheep....like dead said the fans, usually older fans can see through the way wwe has used cena, and tbh i can see the point that the older fans boo him, because they recognise he isnt the greatest wrestler, and they recognise that he is the main figure in the E, when they all clearly feel that someone else should be the face...which will be there prefernce like me for example, i belive orton is the guy who should be heading WWE, but Cena is the one doing all the appearances, but like i said that is just my prefernce, i prefer orton over cena

Are all Cena haterz sheep? No. Some people just hate his gimmick, which is reasonably understandable because I do to, as I've stated before. Why is Cena the main guy? Because of his work ethic. The "E" got him over back when he was popular, and now he's caught in the crossfire since they've decided to water him down. I did mention that I disliked Orton, but I do agree that he is a great main eventer. Have you also stopped and considered that maybe one guy isn't hogging the spotlight for once? We have what, 7 top stars involved involved in high profile feuds right now. The spotlight isn't just on one guy. Plus, this isn't about wrestling ability, this is about entertainment. If you wanna judge someone because of their westling ability, do it in a legit sport where that aspect actually matters. The E that you keep pointing out just so happens to stand for "Entertainment." - Imma Classiq wrote:

And why do you say that? I'm not the one in here starting cuss wars and taking everything personally. I'm just arguing on the matter of the subject, which some people in this thread need to stick to. - litaisextreme wrote:

DUHHHHH!!!!!! This is a DEBATE! The object of a debate IS to have something to say about everyone's opinions, using facts and points to argue on the matter of the subject. Stick to the subject, because digression is not going to work. - litaisextreme wrote:

I'm not intentionally trying to change anybody's opinion, I'm just simply going at it with people here just to see who can back up what they say, and who can't, which is one's objective when they enter a debate. I hate to keep repeating myself, but you're driving me to it. - litaisextreme wrote:

Do you know how much the phrase "real fans" is thrown around in the IWC, most of the time used because everybody else is doing it? Nobody even tried to be original anymore. It's pathetic. >_> - Wishmaster wrote:

If you can't stand the heat then you better stay out of the kitchen. Debates are NOT pretty nor are they nice. question, this isnt attacking someone? you contradict yourself when you say whos attacking who Attacking: *Kid walks down the hallway trying to get to class. You walk up to him and you begin punching him in the nose* Retaliating: * Kid walks down the hallway trying to get to class. You walk up to him and punch him in the nose. The kid retaliates by knocking you to the ground and punting you in the skull RKO style.* Sorry that the 2nd one is a bit more extreme, but it DOES illustrate the difference between "attacking" and "retaliating," and the situation is really no different here. - litaisextreme wrote:
- God you quoted everything, I didn't think everything I said would really be that important.
In a debate, the best thing to do is try to address everything someone says, and try to counter it, that way they can't come back later and say, "You completely ignored this part of my post because you had nothing to say." >_> - litaisextreme wrote:
- I never said I didn't like it, just that I didn't really think it was necessary. Besides, I like to jump in sometimes, I think it would be ok concidering there's no rule against it.
If you liked it, you wouldn't be complaining about it. It's a distraction from the topic at hand. And you're right, there isn't a rule against jumping in, but if you're gonna go swimming, watch out for sharks. - litaisextreme wrote:
- But, I am sorry if I did misunderstand you, like I said before, I just felt I should put my part in, which I still stand by rather it's wrong or right to you.
Who said that there was anything wrong with that? The whole problem is that people keep digressing from the topic to get all personal. That's not my problem, nor is it my fault, because we're debating over Cena, not each other. - litaisextreme wrote:
- I'll butt out now, promise. Btw, this has turned into more of an argument twords other things then Cena, just saying.
Now you're starting to get my drift. - litaisextreme wrote:

There was quite a bit of bad bad words in there which made you look like you needed to chill, that's why I said it. I never use the f word. Number 1, don't be partisan. Don't condemn one while you ignore the same actions of the other. Number 2, notice that you didn't quote the post which I was responding too. That's called taking things out of context, which is another nono. |

Why does everybody have to either be a fanboy, or wish death on the man? What the hell happened to respect for our performers? Calling Cena a "piece of trash" is a little extreme since you're berating him for just doing his job. That's all the man is doing. He has a script, and he's expected to to do what the writers have lined up for him. As far as the year long title reign, you act as if the man chose to hold the belt for that long. The WWE heads do what they feel is good for business, and they felt that Cena was a great posterboy and a great representation of their empire. The only part Cena had in it, was doing what he's supposed to do. Whether he has the title or not, he still never wavers in his support for the company. He PR's at the drop of a hat. He's always leaving a good impression on people. It's Cena the person that the company judges not Cena the character, and I just can't for the life of me, grasp the logic of hating Cena the person. Just because Randy Orton is a dick on TV doesn't mean that I think he's a piece of trash. I just dislike his character. No need to get nasty. also, there's no truth to what you say. You're speaking on pure emotion. Nobody in the WWE is a piece of trash. It's unnecessary to think that way. >_> |

| im not judging his personal life, im judging his in ring work. THATS what everyone hates so damn bad. his wrestling skills, i dont care what he does outside the ring, i dont hate him for that. i only hate him for how bad he is in the ring. what he does in the ring is on him, not the company. the company doesnt tell him to go out and have shitty matches, they dont determine what skill limit he can have. isnt that what this debate is about? his in ring work? | |

It's about his all around persona. His character and his true personality.
Why does everything have to devolve into one's in ring work? It's pro wrestling for the love of God. It's not a real sport. <_< |

| Well, if his in ring work is "the only thing that sucks about him," why does that make him a "piece of trash?"
Isn't that a little extreme considering that this is a illusionist "sport," and basically a "variety show," as Vince McMahon himself puts it? Judging someone because of "in ring work" is a little distasteful I personally think.
I've never hated someone because of how they perform in the ring. <_< |

| cena has been the best wrestler in wwe for the past years.. His career is rising each year because he continues being a champ and many people enjoy watching him. another important factor of his career is cena being an actor. He has done a few movies budgeting millions of dollars. i think he is a good professional in and out of the ring, and a great person. He ain't that good as an actor though.
I think cena should send an FU and an STFU to all of his haters..
John Cena is an example of an extraordinary wrestler/entertainer and many people should follow that.....

I don't get why people can't see the sincerity and the gratefulness of this man.
People go, "Oh I don't give a shit about him as a person, he's garbage because he sucks in the ring."
Where in the hell is the logic in that? Speaking personally, why should I care about Cena or any other entertainer as a person? I wish them well in their personal life; however, I don't care enough to know what type of person they are. So haven said that, the only thing I really care about is what goes on is what I see on-screen (what type of performer I'm watching.) Cena falls into the category of guys who I'd probably like more if he didn't win match after match after match. Now I know that is WWE's responsibility to regulate the amount of who gets pushed. Unfortunately, when they see Cena, all they see is dollar signs - nothing more. I'll be honest though, it looks to me as if they're trying to utilize their other talents. The more stars you develop - the more money that is generated!

Well NCD, you were quick to defend Bob Holly when he went into rehab......remember that? xD I believe this line was used, "We're not talking about Bob Holly the superstar, we're talking about Bob Holly the person" or something along those lines. So huh!

| Well, Mick... in that case, I was talking about his health, not about his in-ring performance. I felt that if releasing him and sending him to rehab (or w.e they did at the time) was better than letting him suffer and continue popping painkillers. Two totally different scenarios! | |
