Something I HATE seeing on TV.

Well as all of you know its that time of the year where people are starting to graduate School.One Thing u hate is seeing these people on TV talking about college and making it seem like if you don't go to college you won't have a successful future an crap.I don't go to college and I decided during my senior that I wasn't gonna go because I feel like college isn't for me I just hate it when People try to make you go to college they try to use fear as in if you don't go to college you would continue living with your mama or your gonna go to prison or some shit.I think Im living a decent life and I don't go to college my life could be better but I'm happy with where I am I feel like if I did go to college I would've had a more harder time there anyways.

I haven't noticed the commercials.

I do feel that college is a good thing to do although some people just aren't cut out for that and should instead learn a trade or go to the military.

That is what my youngest cousin needs to do since he is just not cut out for school..

I mean just yesterday he got 4 Fs on his report card..

Like really..?

High school can be hard at times but it is not so hard that you can't get decent grades imo..

Those ads promote schools like ITT Tech or Everest. They're usually on during school/work hours.

Personally, I love learning new things, but I can't stand the structure of the schooling system. It's so mundane.

I wasn't really talking about TV commercials I was talking about Movies and TV shows.For an example lets say Theres this movie about a bunch of trouble teens and the Theres this guy or girl who try's to change there life and then when it comes down to the end they tell them something like "If you don't go to college then you would be back on the streets" or something like "If you don't go to college you would be in jail" stuff like that is just having a job and living on your own not good enough after high school is over???

I didn't go to college until 2 years after high school. I simply wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life so I was a stay at home mom while I figured things out.

college isn't for everyone...the world just needs to realize it

just don't become a 40 year old lazy ass who lives with his momma, DL..
