| - As noted earlier, libertarian magazine Reason recently reported there were rumors of Glen "Kane" Jacobs possibly running against Senator Lamar Alexander for the Tennessee Senate seat that Lamar has held since 2003. The Hill has picked up on the story with an article while The Johnson City Press in Tennessee has a story about it as well.

- Speaking of Kane, Eric Bischoff had some high praise for the WWE Superstar on Twitter this past weekend, writing, "Glenn Jacobs (WWE KANE) is one of the most intelligent, well read, and politically aware people I've had the pleasure to work with... | Kane clarified earlier today that he does not plan on running for political office. He told The Tennessean:
"(I have) no plans on running for political office at this time."
Kane mentioned that "things get a little carried away on the Internet sometimes" in response to a recent article that claimed he was considering running for office in Tennessee.
