WWE Smackdown on Friday, July 12 leading into the Money in the Bank PPV scored a 1.71 rating, essentially even with a 1.69 rating the week before.
Smackdown averaged 2.275 million viewers, down 4.5 percent from last week's average of 2.383 million viewers.
Smackdown narrowly avoided being the least-watched show of the year, slightly topping 2.259 million viewers two weeks ago on June 28.
On cable TV on Friday night, Smackdown ranked #10 in overall viewers, #4 in males 18-34, and #1 in males 18-49 during its timeslot.
In the key demographics, Smackdown dropped one-tenth of a rating in adults 18-49 and males 18-34 and two-tenths of a rating in adults 18-34, but increased slightly among younger viewers to keep the show afloat. | |
