WWE Smackdown on Friday, July 29 scored a 1.99 rating, up one-tenth of a ratings point compared to July 22 and three-tenths of a ratings point compared to July 15.

Smackdown averaged 2.83 million viewers, which was essentially flat with an average of 2.82 million viewers the previous week.

Smackdown's overall rating was the highest in 15 weeks, dating back to the April 15 episode when Edge officially retired and relinquished the World Title.

Smackdown has averaged a 1.90 rating in 2011, with Friday's episode being the first show since April 29 to score above the yearly rating.

On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #6 in overall viewers, #5 in males 18-34, and #3 in males 18-49. In its timeslot, Smackdown ranked #1 in m18-49. In other key demos, Smackdown was #2 during its timeslot, behind CN's "Thundercats" premiere.

Similar to the July 22 episode the previous week, Smackdown reached its highest demo ratings since the April 29 episode.

Does anyone remember what SD! ratings were during it's tenure on Thursday nights? Or even back in late 2005 when it was moved to Fridays?
