| Subject: 8-12-13 Raw Ratings: Details On How The Summerslam Lead-In Episode Fared Wed 14 Aug 2013, 6:29 am | |

WWE Raw on Monday, August 12 scored a 2.95 rating, flat with a 2.96 rating last week.
The Summerslam lead-in episode kept Raw below the 3.0-level for the fourth consecutive week following the Money in the Bank PPV.
Raw averaged 4.111 million viewers, down slightly from an average of 4.178 million viewers last week. The first hour of Raw dragged down the overall show average...
Hourly Break Down: 3.743 million first hour viewers, a jump to 4.273 million second hour viewers, and a rare increase to 4.317 million third hour viewers for Cena-Bryan and the Punk-Heyman match tease. This was the second-most-watched third hour since April.
On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 in overall viewers behind "Major Crimes" on TNT, and ranked #1 in key male demos.
Week-to-week, the Raw demo ratings were essentially flat compared to last week's show. The only real change was a slight increase in males 18-49 to the highest point in one month.
Caldwell's Analysis: It appears that the hook for Punk-Heyman and the long Cena-Bryan promo helped offset the usual drop-off for a PPV lead-in show since many casual viewers have become accustomed to skipping the Raw before a PPV. | |
