Ben Affleck To Play Batman in Man of Steel 2

Ben Affleck is the new Batman. Variety reports that according to Warner Bros., Affleck will suit up as Batman in Man of Steel 2 opposite Henry Cavill as Superman.

Zack Snyder will return to direct the film, which is said to be "informed" by Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns comic book. The film will release on July 17, 2015.

This Batman will have nothing to do with the Dark Knight Triology although some people hoped it would.

I think anything following up TDK trilogy is going to look bad, so it doesn't matter who was playing Batman. Besides that, anything with Superman in it just seems so uninspiring or generic. So, meh.
