WWE Smackdown on Friday, December 7 scored a 1.81 rating for the third consecutive week.

Smackdown averaged 2.55 million viewers, which was essentially flat with an average of 2.53 million viewers the previous week.

On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #8 in overall viewers and barely stayed in the Top 10 among key male demos, ranking #7 in m18-34 and #8 in m18-49.

Smackdown's top competition was "Gold Rush" on Discovery Channel, "Duck Dynasty" repeats on A&E, the Friday night NBA game on ESPN, and a Disney movie that drew away younger viewers.

In the week-to-week demos, Smackdown dipped one-tenth of a rating in m18-34 and m18-49. The younger audience dipped by a greater amount to five-week lows.
