The final WWE Smackdown of 2012 on Friday, December 28 scored a 1.86 rating.

This overall rating was up slightly from 1.81 ratings Smackdown scored at the end of November and beginning of December prior to the Tuesday night special during WWE Week.

Smackdown averaged 2.66 million viewers, which was up one stairstep from an average of 2.55 million viewers during the Nov.-Dec. pocket.

On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #5 in overall viewers and #3 among males 18-34 & 18-49 behind ESPN college football bowl games. During the 8:00 p.m. hour, Smackdown ranked #1 in the demos.
