WWE Smackdown on Friday, May 10 scored a 1.86 rating, up slightly from a near-year-low 1.82 rating last week.
Smackdown averaged 2.53 million viewers, up 2.5 percent from a near-year-low average of 2.47 million viewers last week.
On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #5 in overall viewers and #2 in the key male demos behind the NBA Playoffs on ESPN, which blew away Smackdown with an average of 6.6 million viewers on Friday night.
Caldwell's Analysis: Just no momentum for the Friday night show, especially against the more-compelling NBA Playoffs Street Fight between the Bulls and Heat last Friday night. Smackdown needs purpose and a reason to be must-see TV in the Three-Hour Raw Era. | |
